As one of the business units of MMS Group Indonesia (MMSGI) in the MMS Resources pillar line, MHU is committed to continuously increasing the awareness and concern of all employees and work partners who contribute to overall occupational safety and health in creating a safe, comfortable and productive work environment.

Head of Mining Engineering (KTT) MHU, Aris Subagyo said that the commemoration of National K3 Month is a moment to further understand that the importance of safety in the work area is not only for MHU employees but also for work partners to achieve... zero accident dan zero fatality.

"Occupational safety and health is not just an obligation, but a culture that we must continue to build together. Through the commemoration of National Occupational Safety and Health Month 2025, we want to ensure that every MHU employee and work partner has a strong understanding of the importance of occupational safety and contributes to creating a safer, more productive, and more sustainable work environment," said Aris in his remarks at the opening of the Occupational Safety and Health Month commemoration.

As part of its active engagement with partners, MHU held an innovation competition for its OHS program, encouraging active participation in creating more effective safety solutions in the workplace. Additionally, a series of sports competitions, such as badminton and mini soccer, were held to foster a sense of community and improve the physical health of workers.

MHU involves partners in outreach efforts to strengthen an integrated OHS culture and ensure that all stakeholders comply with national OHS regulations and company policies. This approach is expected to reduce the risk of accidents and ensure continued efficient operations. Furthermore, partners with a strong understanding of OHS will be more efficient in their work, thereby minimizing downtime due to incidents or accidents.

MHU is committed to continuously strengthening the implementation of SMK3 in every line of operations and ensuring that the work safety culture is integrated throughout the company's ecosystem, creating an environment that is not only safe but also sustainable.

National Occupational Safety and Health Month aims to increase awareness and compliance among workers and businesses regarding the importance of implementing occupational health and safety principles. By controlling all potential hazards to safe standards, a healthy and safe work environment can be created. This not only increases workforce productivity but also positively impacts the national economy.
